Such a lovely café with delicious, healthy food! Everything was so fresh and flavorful, and for once, breakfast didn’t leave my stomach feeling heavy. The food was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet like so many brunch spots tend to be. Honestly, everything was just perfect! 🤍

Field and Fire cafe is the perfect spot for an early morning lunch or brunch on the weekend. Centrally located right near the water, it is in an excellent location for a little stroll in a calm area post meal. The food itself is quite delicious, and it’s apparent that they source of their ingredients locally due to the super high quality of their meals. Everything we tried was fantastic- with the hot mess skillet being my personal standout. The coffee was absolutely scrumptious and nothing disappointed us. It does get a little busy, so plan your visit accordingly and be ready to snipe a table. This is a great place for work, food, or anything in between. Grab a bite here!

The food was delicious, had TONS of flavor. The coffee was equally delicious with that tasty deep flavor one looks for in quality brood java. This is a definite return to café!

Field and Fire quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. I spent all day here working remotely on a Friday and went back Sunday morning with my girlfriend so she could experience it too. Friday I had the chai latte, hot tea, and cold tea (yes, all three) and worked through the hot mess skillet for breakfast which was massive and absolutely delicious, then came back for the curry salad and broccoli soup for lunch. Everything was so good. Sunday we ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich, bostock, and the cookies and cream cruffin along with another chai latte for me and a black coffee with cream for my girlfriend. The coffee was strong and delicious. Everything we tried over both visits was amazing. Fair warning if you’re planning to work here: it stays busy and lively all day. I got plenty done on heads down work but did have to step out to my car for a phone call. Not the place for a quiet call, but honestly that just means lots of people love it. I’ll be back constantly. Highest possible recommendation.

Field & Fire Cafe is hands down the most amazing spot in Grand Rapids! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of fresh-baked pastries and hearty, farm-to-table dishes that just scream quality. I absolutely love their food—everything from the savory sandwiches to those flaky, buttery croissants is spot on and made with such care. The service here is outstanding; the staff is friendly, efficient, and always makes you feel welcome. A special shoutout to the wonderful lady who cooks my meals every time—she’s incredibly sweet, remembers my order, and nails it perfectly without fail. It’s that personal touch that keeps me coming back. If you’re in Grand Rapids, this is a must-stop, but plan to swing by before 3pm to catch them at their best. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee and pastry or sitting down for a full meal, Field & Fire never disappoints. Five stars all the way!
